A new 19th century-style base ball league is now being formed for play at the Hartford Base Ball Grounds at Colt Meadows beginning in 2010.
The proposed 4 teams will play by 1800s rules, wearing reproduction uniforms from the era and using19th century-style equipment. If you think you've got what it takes to be we'll tell you how you, too, can get to wear those cool uniforms and say things like, "Well-fielded, sir" and "That hurler is tossing nothing but jim-jams" and "Huzzah!"
.
Tell everyone you know that vintage base ball is heck of a lot of fun! For a bit of history of the game in Hartford, Connecticut (our home town), check out the video.
